This download contains the Windows Support Software (Windows Drivers) you need to support 64 bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 on.
I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 with Boot Camp 3.0.4. I successfully installed Windows XP SP3 last night, but I'm having trouble with it.
I know that Apple dropped support for Windows XP with OS 10.6.6, but I managed to find the Boot Camp 2.1 drivers. I downloaded it and saved the.exe file to a usb stick, rebooted Windows, and attempted to run it. No matter what I do, it won't run. I got an error at one point that said I 'didn't have permission'.sigh. I'm using Windows XP because I want to play old, nostalgic computer games that I used to play as a kid, and it's much easier to find upgrades or patches for XP than other OS's. Some of the specific problems I'm having: -Can't get Windows to find my wireless router. Can't drag and drop, double-click, or right-click.Can't select which OS to boot on startup (it defaults to the last OS used unless I insert the OS X installation disk and hold 'C').
I'm pretty sure these are driver issues, so I'm just looking for a way to get those drivers installed on my machine. I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 with Boot Camp 3.0.4. I successfully installed Windows XP SP3 last night, but I'm having trouble with it.
